Glossa, Skopelos

Whether you’re seeking a quiet getaway or an adventure exploring the beauty of Skopelos, our cottage is the perfect base for your journey.

Glossa, the second-largest settlement on the island, is a picturesque village perched on a hillside on the island’s northwestern side. Often referred to as the “balcony of the Aegean,” Glossa offers breathtaking views of the sea and neighboring islands. Its narrow streets wind through traditional houses with wooden balconies and tile roofs, preserving an authentic Greek village atmosphere. Glossa is quieter and more serene than Skopelos Town, making it an ideal destination for those seeking tranquility and a slower pace of life.

… and many more!

The village is known for its warm and welcoming locals, many of whom are involved in fishing, farming, or crafting. It’s also a culinary hotspot, with restaurants serving fresh seafood and dishes made with locally sourced ingredients, such as olive oil and honey. Not far from Glossa is the port of Loutraki, which serves as a gateway to the village and provides ferry connections to nearby islands.
